50 years on, Brunetto and Franca Lepri’s persevering, industrious spirit is kept alive today at F.B.L through the passion and dedication with which we serve our Clients.

Day after day, the F.B.L. team thrives on complete and mutual trust. Working side by side for so many years, we have learned to appreciate each other’s abilities. As happens in every family, we have gone through both times of great prosperity and times of difficulty. But the successes have never distracted us nor have times of crisis ever kept us from persevering.

Indeed, our experience gives us a special way of viewing reality and business, and allows us to look confidently towards the future of our company with a unique perspective.

WHEN IT ALL BEGAN: THE STORY OF F.B.L.

The name of our Buying Office encapsulates our roots. They are the initials of Franca and Brunetto Lepri; they are the legacy that drives us to provide every person with the best of care. Always.

1976

It all began in 1976, when Brunetto Lepri, keen on innovation and keeping up with the latest trends, founded his buying office. Brunetto soon entered into a fruitful collaboration with Nordstrom under his Florence-based company, “Brunetto Lepri”.

Yet, there was still something missing. Only after Brunetto’s wife Franca Gianni joined the business four years later did the company become whole.

1984

The company’s name was changed to F.B.L to reflect the couple’s solidarity. This sense of solidarity is reflected today in the compassion, professionalism and expertise with which we support our Clients.

2016

A promising future. Since 2016 Gabriele Lepri, Brunetto and Franca’s son, has been leading the company with the same enthusiasm and passion as his parents.

2023

Following Gabriele’s untimely death, FBL is now lead by a new board of directors who are determined to move forward with the original spirit and professionalism on which the Lepris built their business, and to maintain the operational structure based on the values and competence that has always characterized our company.
